Yesterday evening, the 2021-22 Chinese Women's Volleyball Super League third and fourth finals ended in Jiangmen, Guangdong, and the Shanghai women's volleyball team defeated Liaoning 3-0 to win the third place in the Volleyball Super League for two consecutive years.

Since the 2017-18 season, the Shanghai women's volleyball team has ranked among the top three in the league for five consecutive seasons, ranked second twice, won the third place three times, and lost to the Tianjin women's volleyball team twice in the final. In the first leg of last night's volleyball championship battle of the season, it was the Tianjin women's volleyball team that swept Jiangsu 3-0 and held the championship point in its hands.

Tianjin's strong side attack and net mouth strength were vividly demonstrated in this first leg final. National team vice-attacker Yuan Xinyue scored a game-high 17 points, while foreign aid receiver Vargas and national team main attacker Li Yingying scored 15 and 12 points respectively. Tianjin's first innings was a 25-11 tie against Jiangsu, followed by two innings 25-20 and 25-17 to give Jiangsu a crisp defeat.
