The "female version of Jobs" is miserable! Or a sentence of 20 years in prison!

In the early morning of Jan. 4, Elizabeth Holmes, founder of Theranos, a U.S. in vitro testing company valued at $9 billion, was convicted by a jury on four counts of fraud, which could face up to 20 years in prison. Holmes was dubbed the "female version of Jobs" for his charisma and pullover dress similar to Apple's founder Jobs.

According to the Associated Press and the Wall Street Journal and other US media reported on January 4, a federal jury in California ruled on Monday that Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos, who had claimed to change blood testing, faced 4 of the 11 charges.

Charged with a years-long fraud scheme while running Theranos, Holmes was convicted of four counts including investor fraud and conspiracy, but was acquitted on 3 counts related to defrauding patients who paid for Theranos' tests and 1 related conspiracy charge. The jury did not rule on 3 allegations related to other individual investors.

Prosecutors said Holmes deceived investors between 2010 and 2015 into believing that with just a few drops of blood on the tip of their fingers, a series of tests could be performed through a small instrument to detect illness.

US media pointed out that the ruling made the former "Silicon Valley darling" discredited. Holmes has appeared on the cover of magazines with headlines such as "This CEO is Out for Blood," and she has imitated the style of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, wearing a black turtleneck sweater.

Looking at Elizabeth's resume, it is also a legend: 19-year-old Stanford University dropped out of school, the market value of the start-up company reached 9 billion US dollars, a number of big names in the global political and business circles have stood for her, and major well-known media have rushed to report... At her peak, Elizabeth was included in the "Top 400 Richest People in the United States", selected as one of the "Top 100 People Influencing the World", selected as "Businessman of the Year", reported as "the next Jobs" or "the next Bill Gates"...

But only the following year, she was called the world's most disappointing leader," and her asset valuation was updated from $4.5 billion to worthless. She launched the "revolutionary blood testing equipment", which claims to be able to complete hundreds of blood testing projects through only fingertip blood collection, and was eventually revealed to be only a chicken rib product that can detect a few blood indicators, and she became the protagonist of the biggest scam in Silicon Valley.
