2021 Nanjing Drama Festival
On the evening of December 30, 2021, with the end of the last performance of this year, the lights of Nanjing Poly Grand Theater were lit up, and the "2021 • Nanjing Drama Festival" officially ended.
This is the 5th year that the Nanjing Drama Festival has accompanied you.
This year, we reunited in the theater: 21 wonderful plays interpreted the variety of life, 36 times to see the curtain rise and fall, more than 40,000 people entered the theater to immerse themselves in the dream of the play...
This year, we met in the city: drinking a cup of coffee and going to the theater in the sunshine of Xuanwu Lake, roaming and playing with the drama in the streets of Xiaoxi Lake, moving the stage to the desk during that special time, gathering in the clouds...

In 2021, Theatrical Teams such as Xiantong Drama, Sichuan People's Art Theatre, Xi'an Drama Theatre, Yunnan Provincial Drama Theatre, Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center, Gulou West Theatre, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Nanguo Drama Society, ScratchIng Art Creation, Beijing Fengshuo Fruit Lin Zhaohua Drama Creation Center, Happy Twist, Meng Jinghui Drama Studio, Busan Bu Bu Huang Drama Society, and China National Drama Theatre (in order of performance) led the works to land on the "2021 Nanjing Drama Festival".
Jiang Shan, Zheng Yunlong, He Nian, Zhang Lu, Zhou Zhouwei, Jin Xing, Lin Zhaohua, Ni Dahong, Shi Ke, Xu Chengxian, Wang Xiaobing, Xu Xing, Meng Jinghui, Mei Ting, Wu Fan, Zhang Zhijian, Zeng Li (in order of performance) and other drama celebrities bloomed on the stage of the "2021 Nanjing Drama Festival".

On the occasion of the centenary of the Party, the "2021 Nanjing Drama Festival" has specially added a "red unit". The "Famous Drama Unit" powerful directors and actors sit in the seat and interpret literary classics with drama.

Feel the energy of drama, not only between the curtain and the curtain. Let the drama make a sound in the city, let the fun happen in the city. As a well-known cultural brand in Nanjing, since 2017, the Nanjing Theater Festival has brought a fresh and diverse cultural experience to the citizens of Nanjing with drama as the medium and cultural empowerment. The fifth anniversary of the Nanjing Theater Festival has always focused on the theme of "clapping with drama and life", planning and launching the "Drama Roaming the City" brand, bringing drama into life, integrating with avant-garde art and urban renewal, taking the city as the stage and letting drama stage between life.

Did you come to Xuanwu Lake for coffee this fall?
The "Nanjing Drama Festival" and the "Coffee Festival" entered the Yingzhou of Xuanwu Lake, bringing theatrical performances, clown performances, theatrical theme special coffee, drama peripherals and theater viewing benefits, etc., and received more than 100,000 people exposure.

100 friends participated in a large-scale immersive theatrical experience adapted from the world famous book "The Red and the Black", French literature met the memory of Jinling, and theatrical art was revitalized in the fireworks of the world.

In 2021, there were occasional small-scale epidemics in China, and in August when the pause button was pressed in Nanjing, the "2021 Nanjing Drama Festival" joined hands with four dramatists Tian Shui, Hao Guang, Lin Yi and Liu Xiaoye to jointly launch the "Slap with Drama and Life - The Second Season of the Desk Reading Meeting" and met with theater lovers in the clouds.
Covering 3 municipalities directly under the central government, 15 provinces and 50 cities, 465,000 people entered the world of drama through live broadcasting, discussing, communicating, reading, and the gentle and tenacious power was transmitted in the clouds.

Every September, the Nanjing Theater Festival invites new students of Nanjing University to watch the first drama of their college career, but this year, due to various reasons, the "Best Youth Meet Drama" event failed to arrive as scheduled.
