So what is the definition and definition criteria of a small food production and processing workshop?
The Food Safety Law does not give a definition of a small workshop for food production and processing.
GB/T 23734-2009 "Basic Requirements for Quality and Safety Control of Small Workshops in Food Production and Processing" defines small workshops in food production and processing as: units or individuals engaged in food production in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, with fixed production sites, fewer employees, small production and processing scale, no pre-packaged or simple packaging, and fixed sales scope of food production and processing (excluding freshly sold).
