Are there any Turkish Super League players recommended to Juve? Pjanic: Isn't that me?

Last summer, Barca midfielder Pjanic joined Besiktas on loan. In an interview with Turin Sport, the midfielder, who has played at Juve, talked about his experience in the Turkish Super League, his old club Juve and other topics.

About the adventures in Besiktas

First of all it was a wonderful experience, even in terms of life, as Istanbul is a beautiful city. The Turkish Super League is a good league, the pace of the games here is fast, and the atmosphere of the stadium is also very warm. Compared to Italy, there is not much emphasis on tactics here, but there are a lot of players who are very skilled.

We've lost too many points and are currently only 7th in the league, but I hope we can improve our position in the table soon.

About whether there are any Super League players recommended to Juve

Yes, that's Pjanic (laughs). There are some very talented players in the Turkish Super League, but it is not easy to play for Juve because that means a huge responsibility.

On whether Juve will miss themselves in the first half of the season

It's hard to say. But I still love Juve, I love the fans, the manager, my teammates, the club president... I have fond memories at Juve and hope to one day return to Juve with my son to watch a match at home. It was a very difficult thing for me to leave Juve, but two years ago, an incredible club like Barca wanted to get me.

It would be nice if I could return to Juve in the future, but in any case I would like to wish Juve all the best.

On whether Juve can break into the Champions League

Juve did lose too many points in the first half of the season, but everything in the football world changes very quickly and in such a strange season affected by the coronavirus pandemic, you never know what will happen in the end. As Allegri has always stressed, Juve have to work hard and keep getting points. By March, we'll know if they can fight for a Champions League spot.
