Each: Several French teams are willing to take on a small portion of Umtiti's salary, but Barca are waiting for Newcastle

The Daily Sports newspaper reported that Besiktas is currently interested in loaning Umtiti, but Umtiti does not want to play there.

There are still a few French clubs willing to pay the minimum part of his salary, while Barca are hoping Umtiti will move to Newcastle at the last minute, but there is no progress on this front.

French defender Umtiti, 28, whose contract expires in June 2023, has made one appearance for Barca this season.
