According to reports, Hubei Province spans the North China Plate and the South China Plate, two first-class geotectonic units, more than 1,000 magmatic rock intrusions of different eras, types and scales, and different sedimentary construction, magmatic activity, metamorphism, tectonic deformation and mineralization have bred unique Jingchu mineral resources. By the end of 2019, 150 minerals had been discovered in the province.
