Guan Yu was one of the most important warriors in the Three Kingdoms. In terms of force, except for Lü Bu, no one's force value could stabilize Guan Yu's head. Wen Jiu beheaded Huaxiong, Yan Liang, Xue Wen ugly, and slashed six generals through five levels, all of which are Guan Yu's famous battle achievements. However, the heroic Guan Yu was also equalized by little Pound.
So what is the level of Pound's strength? How does his strength compare to Guan Yu?
First, let's confirm Guan Yu's level.

At that time, Cao Cao was particularly fond of Pound. Therefore, he ordered his generals to fight a wheel war and a war of attrition with Pound, and then find a way to capture Pound alive after Pound's strength was exhausted. That is to say, the generals under Cao Cao should be said to have a certain degree of closure. But in any case, Pound's four generals, that is a solid record. Among them, being able to fight with Xu Chu for fifty rounds is quite a gold-containing head-to-head.
In the subsequent battles, Pound also made many achievements. In the Battle of Fusukou, Pound beheaded the animal general Chen Wu. In Hanzhong, he defeated the famous Ji Han general Wei Yan. There is no doubt that Pound is at least at the level of the first class in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
So who is the higher strength of this Pound and Guan Yu? This we need to see in the Battle of Fancheng, the two singled out.
Before Guan Yu and Pound went head-to-head, Guan Ping first went head-to-head with Pound. The original text of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms records:
Ping was furious and danced his sword to get Pound. Tokusatsu came to greet him. Thirty battles, no matter whether they win or lose, the two families rest. That is, Guan Ping and Pound singled out thirty rounds, regardless of victory or defeat.
Then, it was Guan Yu himself who went out on the horse. The original text reads:
(Guan Yu) danced the sword on horseback to take Pound. The Delun knife came to greet. The second general has more than a hundred battles, and his spirit is multiplied. The two armies were demented. The Wei army feared that Pound would lose, and urgently ordered Mingjin to collect the army. Guan Ping was afraid of his father's old age, and he was also anxious to ming Jin. The two will each be withdrawn.
In this round of single-handedness, it should be said that Pound has the upper hand. Why? First of all, Pound first played thirty rounds with Guan Ping, and Guan Yu had a physical advantage. Secondly, this head-to-head was interrupted by Guan Ping. Although Guan Yu was not injured or defeated, it was certain that he would fall into the downwind.
The next day, Pound and Guan Yu went head-to-head again. The original text reads:
Two rounds, two will come out together, not to mention no conversation, out of the horse confrontation. After fighting for more than fifty years, Pound drew back his horse and dragged his knife away. Guan Gong then chased after him.
After the first day of single-handedness, Pound knew that Guan Yu was not easy to deal with, so he was defeated after fifty rounds of fighting, using a drag knife meter.
It turned out that Pound pretended to drag the knife, but hung the knife on the saddle, secretly dragged the carved bow, put on the arrow, and shot it into the future. ...... When Guan Gong opened his eyes urgently, the bowstring sounded, and the arrow arrived early; he could not dodge it, and it was right in the middle of his left arm.
That is to say, Pound's deceitful strategy was successful, although Guan Yu did not lose the wind in the one-knife and one-shot battle. But single-handedness is meant to be a battle of wits and courage. Guan Yu ate the opposite dragging knife meter and hit the opposite dark arrow, that is, the strength was not good. It can be said that Guan Yu was really defeated in this single challenge. If Guan Xing had not intervened, Pound would have been very likely to let Guan Yu lose within two hundred rounds.
However, it should be noted that Guan Yu at this time is no longer the Guan Yu at the peak. This year, Guan Yu was already a veteran in his fifties. In the ancient times when life was seventy years old, this age was really not small. So we can only say that when the two go head-to-head, Pound is undoubtedly the one with higher martial arts.
