According to Italian journalist Nicola Schola, Conte Jr. will leave AC Milan in this winter window, and he has reached a principled agreement with Empoli.

Empoli has recently begun pushing for the introduction of Conte Jr. and the two sides have now reached a basic deal with the right-back who will leave AC Milan in January. The parties will refine the specifics of the deal.
