Due to the lack of obvious rain in the Riyuetan area, coupled with the need to continue to supply downstream agricultural water in the Tan area, the water level continued to bottom out, and the effective water storage capacity of the Riyuetan Reservoir dropped from 56.7708 million cubic meters yesterday to 54.1335 million cubic meters, 2.6373 million cubic meters less, and the percentage of water storage fell from 44.38% to 42.32%.
In this regard, The Taipower of the management of the Riyuetan Reservoir said that although the downstream agricultural water has recently been dispatched by the Central Water Bureau and the Jiji Barrage, priority is given to the natural flow of the turbid water stream, but the shortage still needs to be supported by the Sun Moon Lake, and the water in the Tan District is about 15 cms (cubic meters per second) per day, but the amount of water inlet is only 5 cms, and the water level in the Pond Area is therefore straight down.
Because the water level in the Sun Moon Lake area continues to fall, the grassland mud ditch has been seen around the bank of the pond, originally in the waters of Crescent Bay, the beautiful scenery, but also because of the poor water storage condition, the gravel next to the curved waterfront exposes a large circle, because the color level is clear like the "annual ring cake", becoming an alternative spectacle; Taipower calls for water conservation and more fine scheduling of agricultural water to ensure that water resources are not wasted.
