Japan's Electric Shock Online magazine published a latest interview with Seiji Aoki, producer of the VR Warrior series, in which they asked Mr. Aoki if it was possible to transplant VR Warrior 5: Ultimate Showdown to a PC. Moriharu Aoki said that the original arcade version of the game was built on PC, so this (porting) is technically feasible. However, the development team still needs to solve some problems before it can be brought to pc, and one of the important problems is crossplay.

Moriharu Aoki said that if they release a Steam version of the game, then the players are scattered, so the game needs to support crossplay, and to achieve crossplay, they need to make a combat system to ensure that there is no delay in online games between different platforms, creating an environment that can be easily played on any platform.
