In an interview article published by Electric Shock, SEGA game producer Moriharu Aoki revealed that the download volume and player retention of VR Warrior 5: Final Showdown have exceeded Sony's expectations, and the response to this game is very strong, SEGA is planning the future of the series, and may consider launching a brand new game.
In the interview, Moriharu Aoki also talked about the idea of considering launching a PC version of VR Warrior 5: Final Showdown on steam, but finally gave up due to concerns that releasing the game for multiple platforms would distract gamers and deal with possible cross-platform online challenges.
VR Warrior 5: Final Showdown is now available on the PS platform.
