"In China's "Cosmetic Safety Technical Specifications", the live mold and yeast in the final product of cosmetics are considered according to contaminated microorganisms, and the total number of colonies of the two must be less than 100 colony forming units (CFU)/g (ml), so direct addition to the final product is not quantitative, so it is not feasible." The Cosmetic Safety Technical Specification (2015 edition), which came into effect on December 1, 2016, states that the amount of live mold and yeast contaminated in 1g or 1mL of cosmetics after a cosmetic sample is cultured under certain conditions, so as to determine the degree of contamination of cosmetics with mold and yeast and its general hygiene status. The total number of mold and yeast in cosmetics shall not be greater than 100 colony forming units / ml (CFU / ml) or 100 CFU / g, if it exceeds the standard, it is a first-class contaminated product.
