Lijiang Yongsheng oil tea

Yongsheng oil tea is a specialty of Yongsheng County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. There is a saying circulating in northwest Yunnan: "Lijiang Cane Crane Qingjiu, Yongsheng Oil Tea Family Has It."

Yongsheng oil tea is a well-known, unique flavor of tea drinks, because of the creation of Yongsheng and named, Yongsheng oil tea production first put the utensils on the charcoal fire, put in a handful of rice, simmer and roast until slightly yellow, and then put the oil or sesame oil, with a spoon to turn. When the rice is fried thoroughly, add the tea leaves, fry slightly, flush into the boiling water, immediately boil, and the tea is overflowing. In order to make the tea more fragrant and strong, the oil tea should be boiled on a low heat for a while, so that the rice, tea, and sesame oil are fully blended, and then it can be drunk. Some friends like to add dried fruits such as fried peanuts, sesame seeds, etc. at the end to make the tea soup more flavorful.

The oil tea I drank was made in my hometown and salty. Usually it is eaten at breakfast with a cake, plus a plate of tea. It feels like a soup with rice. The oil of oil tea is generally selected with lard with oil residue, so the flavor of the fried oil tea is fragrant.

Compared with the Lei tea in Hunan, how similar it is. The entrance is very fragrant, but Lei tea is a little more viscous, while oil tea is clearly distinguished. Friends who have the opportunity to go to Yongsheng must try it.
