This is a true story.
During the reign of Ming Hongzhi, there was a small village of about 80 families in the northeast corner of Tang County, known as Zhao Jiazhuang. Zhao Jiazhuang has the surnames of Zhao and Li, and the surname of Zhao is the majority, and the generations have been engaged in farming.
Although the population surnamed Li accounts for a minority, according to Mr. Feng Shui, the Yin and Yang residence of the Li family occupies the qi pulse, not only living more solidly than the Zhao family, mostly small and medium-sized landlords, but also a family of cultivators and readers, many people who can read and hyphenate, and there are more than 10 officials who are not big or small in the eighth generation of the Shangcha, and the highest position is Li Degui, who was then the county commander of Zaoyang County in Hubei Province.
Li Degui was a man in the early years of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty, and wrote a good article, using the dual texts of the eight parts of the eight parts of the broken question, undertaking the topic, starting from the lecture, starting the stock, the middle stock, the back stock, and the bundle stock, and the two pairs of the last four parts, which were well received by the chief examiner and played by the Chenghua Emperor. Emperor Dayue, Emperor Zhiyang County. Li Degui lived up to his expectations, and in the past few years, he has managed Xiangyang County in an orderly manner, not picking up the road and not closing his household at night. The people work at sunrise and rest at sunset, and men and women weave, and their joy is harmonious.
In the 23rd year of Chenghua, the emperor died and the Hongzhi Emperor took the throne. At the time of the replacement of the old and the new, bandits in Zaoyang County were rife, blocking roads and robbing houses, robbing homes, killing people and setting fires, and committing all kinds of evil deeds. The people did not have a good life and left their homes. The county order is weak and incompetent, and it is left to its own devices. The chancellor played emperor Hongzhi.
The emperor approved Li Degui to be reappointed to Zaoyang County, and the original county order was removed from his post on the spot. As soon as Li Xianling took office, he began to expand his armament, strengthen training, and join forces with Zhou County to severely punish bandits and kill a hundred people. The situation quickly improved, and the people were able to recuperate. This matter is not pressed table.
It is said that there is a large cemetery in the southeast of Zhao Jiazhuang, with about 40 graves of various sizes. In front of the ancestral tomb there is a stone stele with a double dragon carved on it. It is backed by a high hill in the northeast, facing the southwest depression, with a raised hill on the left and right, and a standard chair-shaped terrain. Further south is a small river flowing from west to east. According to feng shui, this is a treasure of feng shui.
This tomb is not the home of the ancestors of Zhao Jiazhuang, but the cemetery of Mr. Zhang Da's family in Zhangjiazhai, 8 miles southwest of this place. Mr. Zhang Da was a famous rich man in southeast Tang, who owned thousands of acres of fertile land and herds of mules and horses. When he first bought this field, Mr. Zhang Da paid a big price.
The people who sold the land in Zhao Jiazhuang still thought that if they were stained with light, they would not be worth so much money just by relying on that piece of hilly land. Who knows, Mr. Zhang Da's eye is the yin vein of that land. More than 10 years later, Mr. Zhang Da's father passed away and was buried here. Since then, after four or five generations, the Zhang family has not only become more prosperous in its family business, but also produced two Gongsheng and 8 Talents, which is exactly the saying of the treasure land of feng shui.
Moreover, after Li County Ling took office in Zaoyang for more than 10 years, he returned to his hometown and raised his family at home. Li Degui was unofficial and light, so he continued his hobby, reading the Five Classics and the Four Books, and writing books and sayings, often reading and writing until late at night.
Whenever he was tired in the middle of the night, he would go out of the courtyard, watch the night view, breathe in the fresh air, and then go back indoors to continue reading or writing. One month, in the middle of the night when the wind was high, when he stood outside the door and looked east, he suddenly saw a bright light in the distance. The night is silent, where is the light? This aroused his curiosity. Second night, third night... Also in the middle of the night, there is light emitted there. He was determined to find out.
In the middle of the night, when the light reappeared, he quietly walked toward it. When he was about to reach the cemetery where the light appeared, the light immediately disappeared, and there was nothing but the tombstone that stood. Back at home, he thought about it for a long time, and finally concluded that the light must have come from the stone tablet.
Li Degui was originally a person who loved more sincerely, and he would never give up until he got this matter out of the blue. But he has been in politics for many years and is clear about the laws of the Qing Dynasty. Stealing a tombstone would be suspected of breaking the law, and things had to be done seamlessly.
In the dark of the night, when the night was quiet, he took four strong and trustworthy family members, took steel brazes, ropes and other tools, and quietly came to the Zhangjia cemetery. According to the master's instructions, the four great men pushed the stone stele down and then carried it to the master's house. In order to prevent the wind from leaking, they each paid 5 strings of copper coins and instructed them to keep their mouths shut.
After being sent away, Li Degui smashed the stele in two with a large hammer. Immediately, roll out of it a ball-shaped thing the size of a bowl. It is transparent throughout and shines all over the house in a flash. This is the golden moon also.
Li Degui couldn't help himself. This object must be a treasure of nowhere in the world and of great value. But this golden moon turned out to be a living creature, rolling around on the ground, placing it in a basin and popping out again. At this time, Mrs. Li had a plan and said, "What does it look like to put a distillation in the pot?" There was no other way, Li Degui had to agree.
So I added half a pot of water to the pot, put on the grate, and put the golden moon on it. Tighten the lid of the pot, press a few more bricks on it, and then turn on the fire. It burned for more than half an hour before it stopped. When the lid of the pot was opened, the couple was stunned: the golden moon finally stopped jumping, but it would never glow again, becoming a stubborn stone.
In desperation, Li Degui threw the stubborn stone into the dung pit outside the door. He buried the two remnants deep in the vegetable garden behind the house.
A few days later, the people of Zhangjiazhai found that the stone tablets in their own cemetery had disappeared, and one by one they were burning with anger, which was even more angry than pulling on the ancestor's head. Immediately, he wrote down the complaint and reported it to Tang County Yamen. The county order immediately sent two public servants to the scene of the crime to inspect and secretly visit. It has been tossing and turning for more than half a month, and everyone knows within a radius of 20 miles, and finally did not get a single valuable clue, so I had to go back to the county to warn the county order. The county order sealed the case file for investigation, and the matter became an open case. The case was shelved for three years.
It just so happened. In the fourth year, Li Degui's family hired a new long-term worker. If this long worker has been checked for five generations, he is still related to the Zhang family. It is a pro-three-pointer, which is a natural thing. One day, this long-term worker planted vegetables for Li Degui's family, and accidentally found the two fragments of the stele, and did not say anything, but secretly told the Zhang family.
The Zhang family appealed the matter to the county court again. The county order immediately sent a public messenger to Zhao Jiazhuang to arrest Li Degui and dig up the remnants of the li family's vegetable garden. At this time, even if Li Degui had a hundred mouths, he could not deny it, so he was willing to surrender.
As a retired official and a courtier, Li Degui's doing this thing of chicken and dog theft was really insulting to Sven, and the emperor's laws also had their own majesty. TangXian County Order enforced the law impartially, and in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 12, Section 9, Paragraph 76 of the Daming Law, sentenced Li Degui to four years' imprisonment with an additional staff and thirty large plates.
And the Zhang family people never knew about the golden moon. Otherwise, Li Degui would not be just a matter of four years of imprisonment and thirty rods.
