Shenyang, January 1 (China News Network) -- On January 1, the "Orthodox Weather -- Exhibition of Works of the Loudong School of Paintings collected by the Imperial Palace Of Shenyang" is being launched at the Imperial Palace in Shenyang, exhibiting more than 20 paintings by representative painters of the Loudong School.

According to reports, at the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, the "Four Kings School" supported by the Qing royal family became the dominant in the field of painting, and Wang Jian, Wang Shimin, Wang Yi, and Wang Yuanqi successively became masters of the painting world. They take the imitation of the ancient as the main purpose, advocate the four families of Dong, Ju and Yuan, pay attention to the fun of pen and ink, pay attention to the rubbing and dyeing, and the painting techniques are rigorous and profound, and their landscape painting style affects the entire Qing Dynasty.

The exhibition is divided into two units: "'Four Kings' Qinghui" and "Yan Pai Chengxue", and in the "'Four Kings' Qinghui" unit, 12 works by Wang Shimin, Wang Jian, Wang Yi and Wang Yuanqi are exhibited, including Wang Shimin's ink pen Yungu Qiao Songtu, Wang Jian's ink pen imitation Dongyuan landscape map, Wang Yuanqi's color landscape map, etc.

Among them, Wang Shimin's ink pen Cloud Valley Qiao Songtu shows the scenes of mountains and valleys, Qiao Song and green cages, and village houses. The pen and ink are carefully done, which shows Huang Gongwang's penmanship. The upper left part of the picture is self-titled: "Ding Ugly Ziyue Writing, Old Mr. ShouyunGu, Eight Dragon King Shimin", the lower plutonium "Wang Shimin" white text square seal. Wang Yuanqi set color landscape drawing pen and ink smooth and concise, the color is bright and beautiful, the upper part of the painting is self-titled Linxue ancient painting feeling, the inscription after the text: "Kangxi Yi Wei Qing and painting and painting, Wang YuanQi year seventy has four", the full text of the first quotation "Royal Calligraphy and Painting Picture Left with People to See" Zhu Baiwen Waist Circle Double Dragon Seal, the lower section of the "Wang Yuan Qi Seal" White Text Square Seal, "Lu Wei" Zhu Wen Square Seal.

According to reports, Wang Shimin brought the ancient style of landscape painting in the early Qing Dynasty to the extreme. In terms of intention, layout, pen, color, line and other aspects have reached the peak of perfection, pen and ink subtle, smooth and loose, thick and clean. Wang Yuanqi is the grandson of Wang Shimin, and the landscape painting is directly derived from his grandfather's dedication to the ancients, and the forms are rich. He claims to have a vajra pestle at the end of the pen, likes to burn ink with a dry pen, and uses layers of rubbing with a pen to be calm.

In the "Yuanpai Chengxue" unit, the works of other major painters besides the "Four Kings of the Early Qing Dynasty" of the Loudong School are exhibited, and the works of Wang Yu, Wang Jiu, Wang Chen, and Wang Yu, who are known as the "Little Four Kings", are all presented, such as Wang Yu's ink pen antique landscape atlas, Wang Yu's color landscape atlas, Wang Chen's imitation of Huang Gongwang's landscape axis, Wang Jiu's green mountain light and water color map, etc. This unit also exhibits the works of Huang Ding, Wang Jiu, Wang Xuehao, Zhang Zongcang, Fang Shishu, Dong Bangda, Qian Weicheng and other Loudong painters.
