2022 is up. The sunshine of the New Year can always give us hope, temporarily forgetting our troubles and sorrows.
Looking back at the past 365 days, is there a face imprinted on your mind? I thought of a scene I had caught off guard by chance.
Last year's Spring Festival, in response to the call for "New Year in situ" for epidemic prevention and control, stayed in Shanghai alone for the New Year, which was somewhat desolate. Bored nights, out and about, the bustling city shows a rare emptiness and tranquility, and the occasional intruder into the streets is tightly wrapped up against the howling cold wind. At the entrance of a community, several shared bicycles fell to the ground horizontally and vertically, and a young man, who only saw his back, stopped, crouched down and stood up, lifted the bicycles one by one, straightened them, and then continued to walk forward.
How to describe this stranger? Not long ago, I saw a phrase and my heart was hot - "precious ordinary people".
Yes, precious ordinary people, may be people who are constantly moving forward by the tide of the times, people who are pulled by "lying flat" and "inner volume" to seek balance, people who are struggling to fight by the impact of ideals and reality, may not be satisfactory at all times, but they will shine with the most simple actions in such a cold night.
In his New Year's message, President Xi Jinping said: "Countless ordinary heroes have worked hard and gathered into a torrent of China's high spirits in the new era. "Even if there is no thought of insight into the truth, no talent that shocks the four seats, no courage to stir up the storm, no earth-shattering greatness, but because of love, because of hope, because of responsibility, every ordinary person is precious."
Of course, sometimes the preciousness of ordinary people seems to be forgotten. People enthusiastically advocate "capital", enthusiastically chase "traffic", enthusiastically surround "idols"... Desire stirs up inner peace, and temptation confuses the authenticity of life, as if pushing people into a deep historical tunnel. And we still believe that reason will always return, and that the other end of the tunnel is light.
"We are used to being shocked by the king and hiding tears for the heroes, but we forget that each of us belongs to the ordinary, to the ordinary world." Decades ago, Lu Yao's words written in "Ordinary World" gave us a solemn reminder today: at the beginning of the new year, all precious ordinary people deserve a deep hug. Because of you, the home is warm; because of you, the city bursts with vitality; because of you, the country and the nation usher in a new era.
Therefore, we must consolidate a fair, just and safe social environment for ordinary people, we must create a "happier and better life" for ordinary people, and we must let ordinary people also "shine for everyone". And all this requires the joint efforts of each and every one of us ordinary people.
Come on, precious ordinary people.
