NBA star Curry once bought a Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT work for about $180,000 and used it as his social media avatar, and it is not difficult to glimpse the huge potential of the NTF market in the "hyped" sky-high avatar.

Many emerging things will always be accompanied by some plagiarism and copycat "chaos" in the beginning, and NFTs are no exception. Coupled with the convenience of using the Internet and the unique characteristics of each work, it becomes more difficult to preserve the creation.
Take the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), which is now hot in the NFT market, two outrageous "counterfeits" :P HAYC and PAYC (Phunky Ape Yacht Club) quickly emerged on the NFT trading platform OpenSea.

Not only are the names similar, but the two NFT series works, from the picture point of view, only mirror the image of BAYC. What's more interesting is that the two cottage "Li Ghosts" also debated on social media about "who started counterfeiting BAYC first and who is the real counterfeit". During the debate, the PAYC founders also said that PHAYC was a "cash fraud project".
Even if they are counterfeits, these two NFT projects have been sought after a lot. Although OpenSea was removed from the shelves shortly after it was launched for rules involving intellectual property violations, both sold out within hours of sale, with payc trading volumes of about 60 ETH and PHAYC about 500 ETH (1 ETH of about $3,755.60), according to platform data.
In the slightly absurd event between "Li Kui" and "Li Ghost" between PHAYC, PAYC and BAYC, in addition to the popularity of NFTs, it also reveals the different ideas and attitudes in the NFT market. One of the members of the PHAYC once said, "I think the NFT project is a satire on the current state of the NFT and the NFT community, who may be too serious about the NFT market."
Admittedly, the early meta-universe industry still has a long way to go, and the NTF market still has great potential, but the current "chaos" shows that NFTs are a bit overheated, like a person who has just learned to drive and slammed on the accelerator to run forward, perhaps at this time should slow down to see where this new road that has never been seen should go.
