The industrial structure has been further optimized and upgraded, and a number of high-quality enterprises have stood out. From January to November 2021, the added value of high-tech manufacturing and equipment manufacturing increased by 19% and 13.7% respectively year-on-year, and the leading role of industrial growth continued to increase. The annual reduction in crude steel production exceeded 20 million tons, and the energy consumption of industrial units above designated size in the first 10 months fell by 5.4% year-on-year. It has cultivated more than 40,000 "specialized, special and new" enterprises, 4,762 "little giant" enterprises, and 848 single champion enterprises in the manufacturing industry.
