Zhou Shuqiang, a high-speed rail "test pilot" in the Greater Bay Area, | the Living Room of the Canton Of Communications and Guangzhou, grasped the gate in his hand and drove every train well

"Driving the fastest car and being the best driver has always been my biggest dream since I joined the workforce. This dream was accompanied by rolling iron wheels under his feet, gradually enlarged in the small driver's cab. In 2002, I drove a domestic Blue Arrow EMU on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen quasi-high-speed railway line, which is known as the "test field" of China's high-speed railway, and started my EMU career, adding gears and improving the quality of my personal dreams. Zhou Shuqiang, a high-speed rail driver in the Guangzhou locomotive section, has always insisted on his dream.

Since joining the work in 1993, Zhou Shuqiang has skillfully driven more than 20 types of internal combustion locomotives, electric locomotives, Harmony and Fuxing EMUs, and has now driven 4 million kilometers safely. Now, he is mainly responsible for the traction task of the Beijing-Guangzhou and Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed railways, driving a giant dragon between Guangdong and Hunan, between Changsha South and Hong Kong West Kowloon, stepping on the accelerator and accelerating the economic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

With excellent locomotive driving technology and work performance, Zhou Shuqiang has participated in the joint commissioning and launch of new lines such as the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed railway, undertaken the trial operation tasks of new EMUs such as harmony and fuxing, and successively went to Beijing, Shanghai, Nanchang, Nanning and other railway bureaus to assist in the opening of the new line and the education and training of EMU drivers, leaving footprints and good memories of trial operation in the high-speed rail network of North China, East China, South China and Southwest China in the motherland.

On December 9, 2009, Zhou Shuqiang was once again honored to be selected as the "test pilot" of the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway, and he was particularly excited, thinking: "What is the limit speed of the car group?" How much is my limit manipulation? ”。 On that day, the small driver's cab station was full of people, when the train full of hope ran to the section from Chenzhou West to Leiyang West, the ATP was closed, the handle was pushed to the maximum traction position, the EMU was speeding like an "arrow" on the high-speed rail line, when the speed exceeded 350km/h, it was obvious that my heart was beating faster; when the speed reached 390km/h, I was very excited to call: 390, 391, 392... The final speed reached 394. 2km/h, creating the highest operating speed of the world's high-speed railway heavy linkage car group at that time, at that moment, everyone was cheering and celebrating. That sense of selfless responsibility, honor, and happiness is difficult to describe in words and unforgettable in this life.

As a driver, this experience of pursuing the limit is only once or twice, but it is more of a day-to-day safety and punctuality. Zhou Shuqiang often reminds himself that the driver's mission is to hold the brakes in his hand, drive every car well, and provide a good travel experience for passengers. After many experiments, he refined the "stable, tight and accurate" EMU operation method. In 2011, it was perfectly performed in the final of the EMU driver of the third national railway industry vocational skills competition, and won the first place with zero error. With the three unique skills of smooth operation, punctual operation and accurate benchmarking, he has been selected to take on special transportation tasks for many times, won high praise from foreign leaders, and won the reputation of China's high-speed rail in the world.
