It is reported that the "three guarantees" regulations for new cars are revised on the basis of the "Regulations on the Responsibility for Repair, Replacement and Return of Household Automobile Products" implemented in 2013.
The new regulations mainly integrate and improve the "three guarantees" content of household automobile products, increase the relevant requirements of the "three guarantees" of household pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle products, and further standardize the content related to the scope of responsibility of the "three guarantees" and the conditions for return and replacement.
In view of the return and replacement dispute cases caused by serious quality problems in the seller's store just after the new car was released, the revised regulations have improved the situation of returning the car and replacing the car, adding the situation of free replacement or return due to quality problems within 7 days.
At the same time, reduce the conditions for consumer replacement and return and the cost of returning the car, and make it clear that due to quality problems, the cumulative repair time exceeds 30 days, and the cumulative number of repairs exceeds 4 times, and the car can be returned and replaced.
For new energy vehicles, during the validity period of the three packs, if the power battery and the driving drive motor are replaced twice cumulatively, or the same main part of the power battery and the driving drive motor are still not normally used after the cumulative replacement of 2 times due to their quality problems, consumers can choose to return or exchange the goods.
In addition, during the validity period of the three guarantees, the cumulative repair time of the power battery and the driving drive motor due to quality problems exceeds 30 days, or the cumulative repair of the same quality problem exceeds 4 times, and the consumer chooses to replace the household automobile products or return the goods with the car purchase invoice and the three guarantee vouchers, and the seller shall replace or return the goods.
Compared with the previous "three guarantees" policy, the biggest change in the new version of the "three guarantees" policy can be summarized as three points: more compensation, more complete protection, and heavier punishment.
