Hunan Daily, January 28 (reporter Liu Yongtao correspondent Yang Tingting Li Yu) Hunan Provincial Market Supervision Bureau's latest food safety supervision and sampling situation shows that the province sampled 311 batches of samples of 7 major categories of food such as wine, cakes, soy products, bee products, etc., of which 291 batches of sample sampling inspection items were qualified, and 20 batches of samples were unqualified. The list of non-conformists includes 8 batches of pastries.
The sampling results showed that the osmanthus cake produced by the nominal Yuanjiang Tianxinzhai Food Co., Ltd. sold by Hunan Wanjiali Group International Shopping Plaza Co., Ltd., the Liuyang fennel cake produced by the Gugang Ancient City Food Factory in Liuyang City, and the dragon's whisker cake produced by the nominal Changsha Chuanjiang Food Co., Ltd. sold by Changsha Huimin Food Co., Ltd. were all found to be acid price (in terms of fat) items that did not meet the national standards for food safety.
The wick cakes produced by the nominal Pingjiang County Xiheng Food Co., Ltd. sold by Hunan Hengkanghui Trading Co., Ltd. and the wheat fragrant small twist flowers produced by the Mingsheng Branch of the nominal Changsha Gonghao Food Co., Ltd. sold by Hunan New Neighbor Supermarket Co., Ltd. were found to be unqualified in the peroxide value (in terms of fat). The tide cake produced by Xiangyong Food Factory in Xiangyin County, which is nominally sold by Changsha Huimin Food Co., Ltd., was found to be unqualified for dehydroacetic acid and its sodium salt (measured in terms of dehydroacetic acid).
The pumpkin cakes produced by the nominal Changsha Guanyou Food Co., Ltd. sold in Yuefang Jiajiama Shopping Plaza in Yueyang Lou District, and the red bean-flavored mooncakes produced by the nominal Miluo Wangheshun Food Co., Ltd. sold in the Yinhe Shopping Mall in Xinquan Town, Xiangyin County, were all found to be unqualified for the mixed use of preservatives.
It is understood that the acid price and peroxide value are the main indicators that reflect the degree of rancidity of oils and fats in food and whether the oils and fats are oxidized and deteriorated, and eating foods with acid prices and peroxide values that exceed the standard may cause gastrointestinal discomfort and diarrhea. Long-term excessive intake of preservatives may cause some damage to the health of consumers.
For the unqualified food found in the sampling inspection, the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau has instructed the relevant market supervision departments to organize verification and disposal, urge food producers and traders to take measures such as removing shelves, sealing, recalling unqualified products, etc. to control risks, and strictly deal with violations of laws and regulations in accordance with law.
