He said that nowadays, e-commerce has long penetrated into people's lives, people have also developed the habit of online shopping, people's lifestyles are also undergoing great changes, more and more attention to maintaining a "safe distance", naturally more and more dependent on online shopping, rely on e-commerce.
How to promote the high-quality development of e-commerce? On December 2, Guangdong Province issued the "Several Policies and Measures to Promote the High-quality Development of Cross-border E-commerce" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures"), which provides support to cross-border e-commerce platform enterprises that set up independent legal person headquarters or regional headquarters in Guangdong with an annual transaction scale of more than 3 billion yuan, cross-border e-commerce independent station enterprises and cross-border e-commerce sellers with an annual transaction scale of more than 3 billion yuan, and provide support in terms of corporate land, executive settlement, and children's schooling. In terms of the construction of cross-border e-commerce industrial parks, the "Measures" make it clear that it is necessary to solidly promote the construction of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones and strive to double the import and export volume of cross-border e-commerce in the province by 2025. At the same time, it is necessary to formulate standards for the construction of cross-border e-commerce industrial parks, build 30 cross-border e-commerce industrial parks with a certain scale, and the number of settled and service enterprises will reach 100,000.
The "Measures" also set a goal for the promotion of overseas warehouses, proposing that by 2025, the number of overseas warehouses will reach 500, and the total area of warehouses will exceed 4 million square meters, and gradually form a professional and intelligent overseas warehouse network.
Cheng Zongzheng, full-time vice president and secretary general of the Guangdong Electronic Commerce Association, said that in the wave of China's Internet economic development, Guangdong's e-commerce economic development has been constantly innovating, and the development level ranks at the forefront of the country.
