Ding Hao crowned China's first Go "big chess player"

Shenzhen, December 31 (Reporter Zheng Xiaohong) After 5 rounds of 6 days of fighting, Ding Hao passed the hurdles and stood out from 32 top Chinese professional Go players to win the first "Bay Area Cup" Chinese Go Master Championship in 2021, winning the title of "Big Chess Player", and he also became China's first Go "Big Chess Player".

The "Bay Area Cup" Chinese Go Tournament is another pioneering work of Chinese Go after the four major title battles of Chess Saint, Guoshou, Tianyuan and Celebrity, and is one of the highest standard Go tournaments in China, representing the highest level of Chinese Go competition.

From December 24th to 26th, the first two rounds of the "Bay Area Cup" Chinese Go Masters Tournament were conducted in Beijing and Hangzhou through the "online + offline" method, and Ke Jie, who ranked first in the first round of the tournament, was cold out, and the intensity of the game was evident.

From December 28th to 30th, the top eight players came to Shenzhen to start the semi-finals, semi-finals and finals. In the end, Ding Hao, born in 2000, won the championship and won China's first Go "Big Chess Player" title.
