He graduated from Sichuan University with a bachelor's degree in archaeology and museum in 2003, a master's degree in archaeology from Peking University in 2006, and a ph.D. in archaeology from Sichuan University in 2021. Since joining the Chengdu Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology in 2003, he has been rated as a librarian of cultural research in 2019, served as the deputy director of the second department of exploration and excavation, and is currently a member of the United Front Committee of the General Branch of the Party Of the Chengdu Municipal Cultural Relics and Archaeology Task Force of the Communist Party of China and the director of the Baodun Site Workstation.
