City view
Cities always have neon lights
There are secret messages there
It's just a pity that you wear a mask
It's not clear if you're talking
Fruits from different places
Each tells its own story
The window has the latest composition
Revolutionary kids and new shoes press on rhyme
I'm in your restaurant
Meet a friend you haven't seen in years
Between the stain and the rice
A cup of tea was drunk for a lifetime
Are there any extra silver coins?
Many gods can be bought back in the mall
She remembers the carmine of her previous life
He likes the gray-green of the city
Sing me a song
Around the corner in the streets late at night
We're all in touch with yesterday
But I can't remember today
Poetry is life, welcome to the "Caotang Reading Poetry" jointly launched by Cover News, Chengdu Radio and Television Station Listening Hall FM and Caotang Poetry Magazine, I am a reading poet Juanzi. What we just heard was Yes's poem "Cityscape".
Ye Si, whose real name is Leung Bing-kwan, is a Hong Kong poet, writer and scholar of literary studies, who was the head of the Department of Chinese at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. He has published poems such as "The Sound of Snow and the Sound of Cicadas", "Wandering Poems", "East and West", and "Chinese Poems of Provence". On January 6, 2013, Yess died in Hong Kong at the age of 65.
Mr. Yes's growth and writing experience is closely linked to the city of Hong Kong. Some people say that because of the limitations of the geographical pattern, hong kong people have a relatively small vision pattern. But in Mr. Yass's pen, this small can also become infinitely large. Every time you read Mr. Yes's poems, you can return to his Hong Kong, which is composed of tiny things, experience its deep delicacy like the aesthetics of the Song Dynasty, and re-evoke our memories of life. In the poem "CityScape", "neon lights", "masks", "restaurants" and "shopping malls" are all images full of modern atmosphere, and the poet looks back at the past scenes of the city while describing the development of the city, hoping to cause everyone to think and reflect through this writing. Society is constantly moving forward, old things are constantly disappearing, and before we know whether this disappearance is good or bad, we can look at the city from a new perspective, which may be a kind of beauty with extreme and mysterious.
Poetry is life, "grass hall reading poetry", there is a temperature and texture. Yess's poem "CityScape" is appreciated here today, thanks for the attention, we will see you in the next issue.
