Although many manufacturers, including Microsoft and Intel, have decided not to participate in the CES 2022 exhibition, Samsung still chooses to participate. In addition to a rich product line such as washing machines, robots, and notebooks, Samsung's incubation project C-Lab will also showcase some very novel products, which will attract many people to stop.
This year, Samsung further subdivided the C-Lab project into 3 categories, namely C-Lab Inside, C-Lab Outside, and spun off from Samsung to run independently. C-Lab Inside was the earliest phase of the project, developed primarily for in-house staff, and this year's products include Piloto (designed to improve equipment habits), PROBA (exam service), Innovision (detecting baby eye alignment) and ZamStar (guitar with built-in LED guides).
Founded in 2018, C-Lab Outside is an accelerator that provides guidance to startups in South Korea. The list includes nine companies. According to Samsung.
Petnow, an AI-based pet biometric solution
Digisonic, a 3D immersive audio solution for mobile devices
Verses, an interactive metaspace music application
bitsensing, a range of imaging radar technology solutions for autonomous driving and smart cities
SELECTSTAR, an artificial intelligence-based data collection and labeling platform
RGT, a versatile modular service robot
MoreDream, an input system that improves accessibility and productivity for people with visual impairments
Yellowknife, a custom platform for automotive display
MONIT, a smart diaper care solution for elderly patients
Founded in 2012, C-Lab has worked with 406 companies to date — a number Samsung expects to reach 500 sometime next year.
