Samsung subdivides the C-Lab project: incubating and accelerating the commercialization of creative products

Although many manufacturers, including Microsoft and Intel, have decided not to participate in the CES 2022 exhibition, Samsung still chooses to participate. In addition to a rich product line such as washing machines, robots, and notebooks, Samsung's incubation project C-Lab will also showcase some very novel products, which will attract many people to stop.

This year, Samsung further subdivided the C-Lab project into 3 categories, namely C-Lab Inside, C-Lab Outside, and spun off from Samsung to run independently. C-Lab Inside was the earliest phase of the project, developed primarily for in-house staff, and this year's products include Piloto (designed to improve equipment habits), PROBA (exam service), Innovision (detecting baby eye alignment) and ZamStar (guitar with built-in LED guides).

Founded in 2018, C-Lab Outside is an accelerator that provides guidance to startups in South Korea. The list includes nine companies. According to Samsung.

Yellowknife, a custom platform for automotive display

MONIT, a smart diaper care solution for elderly patients

Founded in 2012, C-Lab has worked with 406 companies to date — a number Samsung expects to reach 500 sometime next year.
