According to the Daily Sports newspaper, Real Madrid believe that next Summer's visa waiver Mbappe has become a foregone conclusion, while Paris hopes to eliminate Real Madrid in the next Champions League, persuading Mbappe to renew his contract.

Mbappe's contract expires next summer, and he can negotiate a contract with Real Madrid from January 1. However, due to the meeting between the two teams in the Champions League knockout rounds, out of respect for Paris, mbappe and Real Madrid have chosen not to contact each other for the time being, but Real Madrid knows that it is a foregone conclusion that the team will get Mbappe without a visa.

Real Madrid believe that the result of the Champions League knockout match between the two teams will not affect Mbappe's decision, but Paris has not given up on renewing Mbappe's contract, hoping to persuade Mbappe to sign and stay in the team by defeating Real Madrid and ultimately winning the Champions League.

If Kylian Mbappe renews his contract, he will still be a Paris player when the 2022 Qatar World Cup is held, which will give the Qatari consortium behind Paris a lot of face, which is why the team rejected Real Madrid's 200 million euro offer this summer when Mbappe's contract is only one year left.

Mbappe's family has begun to waver in the idea of leaving the team, while Mbappe himself has no distractions and now only wants to win the Champions League for Paris.
