Ah Bing, whose original name was Hua Yanjun, was born in Wuxi in 1893, and the newborn Ah Bing did not have an eye disease, on the contrary, he had a pair of eyes.
Ah Bing's father was named Hua Qinghe, the head of the Wuxi Lei Zun Hall, but in the local admiration of him did a thing against the world, he was stained with red dust, and had an unknown relationship with a widow, thus giving birth to Ah Bing, which was not tolerated by the world, Ah Bing, from the moment of birth, was destined to live a life of repression.
The mother who had been taking care of Ah Bing died of suicide because she could not stand the humiliation of the clan, and Ah Bing spent a few years with her aunt before being sent back to her father.' But not as a son, but as an apprentice.
The Daoist monks of the Lei Zun Hall were not ordinary Daoists, most of them were proficient in musical rhythms and could read and recite the scriptures. And Hua Qinghe, as the head of the Dao, is even more known as the "iron hand pipa".
At that time, Ah Bing had just come to the Taoist Temple, and what he did not expect was that he was not only not snubbed, but also received special attention from the Dao Chief, and poured out his money, but the requirements for him were also very strict.
When learning the flute, Ah Bing stood on the wind outlet to practice, and his wrist was still hung with a scale and iron ring to increase his wrist strength; when learning to drum, he always kept slapping stones, practicing day and night; when he pulled the erhu, he practiced the strings at the request of the master, and his fingers were covered with calluses, so he kept practicing, and even the strings used were thicker than the general strings.
Due to secular reasons, Hua Qinghe could not recognize his son, but he was full of guilt for this son, he hated that he could not give Ah Bing a complete home, and could only do his best to teach him well, so that he could live and live when he grew up.
Ah Bing is indeed smart and clever, for more than ten years, with his outstanding talent and continuous efforts to become a good hand of La Erhu, coupled with his handsome appearance, so people love it. In the whole of Wuxi, no one knows ah bing's name, and when Ah Bing is mentioned, many people will think of this smart teenager. Ah Bing's future looks bright at this time.
However, Hua Qinghe did not hold back before he died of the disease, called Ah Bing to his side, and told them about the father-son relationship between the two. Ah Bing never dreamed that the master who had taken care of him for many years was actually his own biological father, and for a while Ah Bing was difficult to accept. In front of Hua Qing and Cang Lao's countenance, Ah Bing couldn't do anything, so he had to agree to take over his class and become the Daoist leader of the Lei Zun Hall.

At this time, he could not be a Taoist priest, nor could he do physical work, so he could only live on the street.

Fortunately, his craft is still there, although the world is hot and cold, life is not satisfactory. At this time, Ah Bing already lacked the vigor of his youth, he was silent, and in the face of those who came to ridicule him, he only silently and silently finished the piano. It is precisely because of blindness that Ah Bing has more time to immerse himself in music.
Ah Bing walked the streets and alleys, went to many tea houses, tobacco houses, hotels, collected his own hearsay, sorted out and compiled rhyming poems and passages to sing out, while walking and singing, attracted the attention of many passers-by, and the previous desolate song is different from it is a little more energetic, more fresh.
At this time, Ah Bing's heart was simple and grateful, and this time he was grateful to the world for making him feel reborn again, who had become blind.
When he was nearly 40 years old, Ah Bing married a wife, a widow in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province, named Dong Zhidi, with five children, who were sent by the clan to take care of Ah Bing, but after a long time, the feelings between the two gradually warmed up and they lived together. When Dong Zhidi usually helped him out to sell art, he shouted for him on the side.

Although Ah Bing made a living, he never played the violin for money, and in his opinion, as long as he could support himself and his wife, it was enough.
After a short time, the Japanese army invaded Wuxi, and Ah Bing could only change the venue and go as far as Tongyuan Road and Beitang to sell art. Ah Bing, who had become blind, had no way to escape, and could only stay in Wuxi, and the local Japanese army heard about his musical talent, so they asked him to play the piano to help him, although he was displeased, he had to do so.
The turning point in Ah Bing's life is the song "Erquan Yingyue", in fact, the reason why this song can be circulated is to talk about a person - Li Songshou, who is a student of the Folk Music Department of Nanjing University of the Arts.
One day it was cold, Li Songshou did not go out, and he stayed at home alone and pulled up some songs. At this time, I suddenly remembered some tones in my mind, so I began to play some songs that I had given to myself in wuxi hometown Ah Bing.
It happened that this song "Erquan Yingyue" was heard by Professor Cao An, who came to visit him, and while listening to the music, Cao An waited quietly outside the door alone, until after the end of the song, he entered the room and asked Li Songshou the name of the song.
The song was originally improvised by Ah Bing, so when asked about the name, Ah Bing pondered for a moment and said bluntly: "Let's call it "Erquan Yingyue"!" And just like that, this tune came out.
Unfortunately, later Cao An and Li Songtao found Ah Bing and asked him to record the song "Erquan Yingyue". However, when he recorded this piece, Ah Bing was already suffering from lung disease, and he had not practiced for a long time, so he could not find the feeling at that time, and there was no taste of the year when he recorded it.
After the recording, several of the recording professors wanted to invite him back to teach, but Ah Ping categorically refused and went back to live the same poor life as before.
Later, Ah Bing died at the age of 57, and his wife Dong Cuidi left a month after his death. In the end, the husband and wife were buried in the "Yihe Mountain House" Taoist tomb at the foot of Wuxi Xuan Mountain.
