According to foreign media reports, so far, humans have not landed on Mars, but the first virtual house on the Red Planet has recently sold for more than $500,000.

The virtual house, called mars house and designed by Kirsten Kim in May 2020, is the world's first digital NFT (non-homogeneous token) residence, which was recently sold for $514,557.79.

The "House of Mars" appears to sit on top of a hill on Mars, and the house and all of its jewel-like furniture are made of translucent tempered glass.

As for when humans will be able to land on Mars, Elon Musk, ceo of SpaceX, a U.S. space exploration technology company, said in early February that SpaceX will send humans to Mars within 5 and a half years, that is, by 2026. To achieve this, the company is building starships.

SpaceX's starship, the largest manned spacecraft in human history, can carry a hundred people, and it will be a key means of transportation for Musk to achieve his ambitious goal of settling mars. Like the Falcon 9 rocket, Starship will be able to reuse multiple flights in the future.

Previously, Musk had revealed that the company plans to build 1,000 starships in the next 10 years. He estimates that it will take about 9 years to send 1 million people to Mars.
