What is the relationship between Temujin and Zamu? An intolerable opponent, a brother who feels sorry for each other

Regarding the early history of Mongolia, later generations have almost all learned from the "Historical Collection" compiled by the Persians, the "Yuan History" compiled by the Han People, and the "Secret History of Mongolia" written by the Mongols.

Among these three works, only the "Secret History of Mongolia" mentions Temujin's boyhood, but in the evaluation of historians, "The Secret History of Mongolia" is a more literary work, and the writing idea is similar to Sima Qian's "History". Later "Mongolian Golden History" and "Mongolian Origin" were also influenced by the "Secret History of Mongolia", and the writing style was almost the same.

A work similar to the "Secret History of Mongolia" naturally has a self-evident position in the study of Mongolian history. But in contrast, some of the literary content in the text is usually not very credible.

What is the relationship between Temujin and Zamu? An intolerable opponent, a brother who feels sorry for each other

What was Temujin's childhood like? As I described in the beginning of Mongolia, Temujin's childhood was by no means as difficult and difficult as it was written in the Secret History of Mongolia or the Origins of Mongolia.

He should also be a well-deserved strength of the Beggars Department, and his personal team is extremely strong. After his death, his son Temujin, although young, was clearly in a more secure position.

But there is also a problem: although Temujin's position is relatively stable, after all, he is too young to effectively control the other powerful factions of the Beggar Department.

In this context, although the Beggars department did not split, it was also gradually weakening. Taking advantage of the young age of the leader of the Beggars, the Taichi Wubu's Tower suddenly rose up, and for a time it had the strength that seemed to be above the Beggars.

When the history books talk about this matter, they all say that after the death of Yasuji, the Tarikotai of the Taichi Wubu was unwilling to submit to the orphans and widows of Yasuki, so he became the new leader of the Mongols again.

When the Secret History of the Mongols mentions this matter, it says that those who used to follow yasukyu have followed Tari Kutai. Empress Dowager Yuelun could only take a few young children (Temujin brothers) and live a life of loneliness and poverty.

First, tai yi chi wu minister Ta Er Kutai and others had a gap with Liezu, Liezu collapsed, and many rebels were attached to Tai Yi Chi Wu. - "New Yuan History", volume 2, Motoki 2nd

When mentioning this matter, the "History Collection" and the "Yuan History" said that when the people were about to disperse, the Empress Dowager Moon Wheel personally carried a large banner, rode on a fast horse, and chased back more than half of those who tried to leave her.

At that time, all the people of the Liezu clan rebelled, and then they rode after them, and they rebelled against the people with their hands, and returned most of them. ——"New Yuan History", vol. 14, Column 1

Although the "History Collection" and "Yuan Shi" are more reliable, the way of exposition is inevitably too dramatic.

The most realistic situation should be this: after the death of Ye Suo, the cronies who followed Ye Su should also feel the hardship of the leaderless for a while, and face the danger of disintegration at any time. Under the efforts of Empress Dowager Yuelun and after many rounds of delicate games, everyone finally decided to continue to unite under the banner of Temujin, the son of Ye Su, and complete the unfinished business of Ye Suo.

But the flaw that Temujin was too young was always there, and without a strong leader, the power of the lineage was naturally different.

If we use a country analogy, the reality of the Beggars is roughly as follows: the little emperor Temujin, the empress dowager, the powerful prince (Temujin's uncle and cousin), and the auxiliary chancellor (Monlik and others) jointly control power.

Due to temujin's young age, the power was dispersed, and the Beggars were naturally powerless to contend with the Taichi Wubu. And the aggressive momentum of the Tai chi Wubu made the Beggars feel the crisis.

How to suppress the sharp edge of the Tai Chi Wubu? The most realistic approach is, of course, to find a strong ally. Under the guidance of this idea, the Zada Clan officially appeared, and Temujin, the young master of the Beggar's Department (also the same lineage), and zamu, the young master of the Zada Clan, merged with the young master of the Zada Clan to form Anta (brother meaning).

What is the relationship between Temujin and Zamu? An intolerable opponent, a brother who feels sorry for each other

Some people may question: the time of Temujin and Zamu's joint worship cannot be determined, so how can we infer the motives of these two people to worship?

In fact, it's hard to determine just Temujin's true age. According to the New Yuan History, Temujin was only nine years old when he lost his father, and he was eleven when he first worshipped with Zamu, and twelve when he exchanged gifts with Zamu for the second time.

If, according to another theory, Temujin was thirteen years old at the time of Yasumi's death, then the time when Temujin and Zamu merged to worship cannot be copied from the "New Yuan History", because according to the records of the "New Yuan History", the author Ke Shaochen obviously also believes that Temujin and Zamu's combined worship occurred after Yasumi's death.

The effect of Temujin and Zamu's combined worship was excellent, and it basically achieved two purposes: first, the expansion momentum of the Taichi Wubu was significantly suppressed; second, the status of the Zada clan was significantly improved.

In the first few years of Yasuki's death, the Tarikodai of the Taichi Wubu seemed to have become the new chief of the Mongol tribes. But by the time Temujin was eighteen years old, Taichi Wubu no longer had such a prominent position.

In the first few years of Yasuko's death, zatabu did not have any characters to deal with, nor did he have any face-revealing deeds to tell. But by the time Temujin was eighteen years old, Zamuhe's reputation was clearly already very loud.

There are few historical records about zamuhebu, and even fewer introductions to zamuhe's origins, but it is reasonable to speculate that Zamuhe's father should still be alive when Zamuhe and Temujin were worshipped.

First of all, Temujin and Zamuhe are both minor masters of the clan, and if both sides lose their fathers at an early age, it would be too coincidental.

Secondly, after Temujin and Zamu merged to worship, Zamu reunited with Temujin. If both sides are young children who lost their fathers at an early age, it should be Temujin who is on top, and the Beggars must be stronger than the Zadabu, after all, this is a tribe that has been strong and fast.

In the end, after Temujin's temporary appearance, he still succumbed to Zamuhe, and the strength to save his wife was not enough, and he also asked Zamuhe to send troops to help. If Zamuhe also lost his father at a young age, it is difficult to explain the origin of Zamuhe's strength; if Zamuhe was also a young father, his father's legacy would certainly not be as good as that left for Temujin.

In the campaign to help Temujin regain his wife, the commander of the coalition army was Zamuhe, which is more telling.

Zamu He said, "I will not be sheltered from the wind and rain when I am with people, and Dada will be a promise like an alliance, so why not?" Wang Khan was ashamed. --New YuanShi, vol. 17, Column 14

The most reasonable explanation is that Temujin, as the young master of the Beggars (also the first line), and Zamu cooperated as the young master of the Zada Clan, and the identities of the two sides determined that the two sides could become the commanders of the army alone when they were about eighteen years old.

The main reason was that at that time, the Zada Diaphragm was probably stronger than the Beggars (also the Speedy One), or perhaps stronger than the Also Speedy One. With this foundation, coupled with the fact that Zamuhe is older, it is the fact that Zamuhe lives above Temujin.

Looking at Temujin and Zamuhe alone, they all have their own forces behind them to support them, and they are by no means relying on any qualifications and abilities to speak. If the forces behind Temujin are stronger than the forces behind Zamuhe, he will definitely fight for dominance.

If Temujin did not actively fight for it, it would not only damage his personal reputation, but also damage the power and status of the Beggars, which was unacceptable.

What is the relationship between Temujin and Zamu? An intolerable opponent, a brother who feels sorry for each other

In fact, just from the fact that Temujin and Zamu joined forces to worship, we can see a lot of clues.

At the time of Yasuo's death, Temujin must have become the young master of the Beggar's Department, or at least the young master of the Yasugi lineage, otherwise how could Zamu cooperate as the young master of the Zada clan, and how could he worship Temujin?

Ye Su should be the leader of the Beggar Clan, and the Temujin Wuge (the leader of the Tatar Clan) who betrayed the Baba Boy Khan should also be caught quickly, and if ye Su should not have a very strong force, why did he do this?

If Yasuki should still be alive, Zamuhe would certainly not be eligible to worship Temujin. At least in the fight daddy, Zamuhe's father is definitely not as good as Temujin's father.

However, he also died suddenly, which damaged the strength of the Also Sue family, which led to the fact that Temujin and Zamu had joined forces to worship.

Whether it is positive or negative, Temujin's childhood is not like what everyone thinks. The background of his union with Zamu is that only the explanation of suppressing the Taichi Wubu is the most reasonable.

In this way, the Beggars (also the Fast-Acting Line) stabilized the situation, and the Zada-ōbu took advantage of the opportunity to establish a relationship with the Beggar-Bee (also the Fast-Acting) to quickly narrow the gap between the two sides.

Zadabu, who has been playing a supporting role in the prairie world, has become a bit like a historical protagonist after Zamuhe and Temujin have married.

Why did the Taichi Wubu gradually succumb to the Zada clan? The main reason is that in the face of the alliance between the Beggars (also the Fast Line) and the Zada Clan, they naturally have to succumb to the inferiority.

When did Zamuhe's father die? There is no definite historical data to support this. But if my previous speculation is not wrong, then Zamuhe's father should have died before Zamuhe was twenty years old.

Only in this way can we explain the sudden rise of the steppe nova Zamuhe.

What is the relationship between Temujin and Zamu? An intolerable opponent, a brother who feels sorry for each other

When recording Temujin's early experiences, there are many bugs in the historical data, and in addition to what I wrote a few days ago, temujin and Zamu's worship is also full of pits.

If we only look at the historical materials that record Temujin's early experiences, such as the Secret History of Mongolia, the Origin of Mongolia, and the History of Mongolian Gold (hereinafter referred to as the Mongolian Trilogy), we will find a fact: Temujin and Zamuhe should have no emotion at all.

According to the Mongol trilogy, Temujin fell to the bottom of society in his early days, but Zamuhe did not help him in any way. Judging by Zamuhe's identity, if Temujin is indeed at the bottom of society, Zamuhe will not make much effort to help him. In other words, the so-called worship brothers have not even done a small thing of raising their hands.

According to the Mongolian trilogy, Temujin's wife was robbed, and Temujin was the first to find his righteous father Wang Han, rather than his brother Zamuhe. Wang Han believed that the number of 20,000 troops he brought with him was not enough, and took the initiative to suggest that Temujin contact Zamuhe, which led to the joining of Zamuhe.

Some people may say: At least Zamuhe has also sent troops, which can more or less prove that the two sides still have feelings. But in fact, this kind of feeling is the most insignificant.

According to the Records of the Mongolian Trilogy, Wang Han had already dispatched 20,000 troops to save Temujin's wife. With these 20,000 troops at the bottom, it should be a big deal to send troops to rob a woman. As long as there is a word from Wang Han, Temujin can completely persuade other tribes: we already have 20,000 troops, follow us to send troops, the benefits are greatly dropped!

When an army goes out, the purpose cannot be simple. After saving Temujin's wife, wouldn't it be reasonable to grab some belongings with your bare hands? Zamuhe's dispatch of troops in this context is more like an act of icing on the cake, not much friendship.

According to the Mongolian trilogy, it was the Contempt beggar who robbed Temujin's wife. For Zamuhe, the Beggars also had a vendetta against him, because when Zamuhe was young, he was also captured by the Beggars.

Zamuhe promised to send troops, whether to help Temujin rob his wife, or to avenge himself? If you dwell on this kind of thing, it will be endless.

According to the records of the Mongolian trilogy, after helping Temujin to retrieve his wife, Zamuhe mentioned this matter when he had nothing to do: your wife was robbed, and she was used for a while, and you dare to ask for the son she gave birth to? Are you still not a man?

According to the Mongolian trilogy, it wasn't long before Temujin turned against Zamuhe, and more than twenty years later, Temujin killed Zamuhe.

After reading the above records, how much affection do you say Temujin and Zamu can have?

What is the relationship between Temujin and Zamu? An intolerable opponent, a brother who feels sorry for each other

The early accounts of the Mongolian trilogy of Temujin are unique, and we cannot find any evidence to refute this, but can only be inferred from common sense. But the history of Temujin's adulthood is not decided by the Mongol family.

Whether it is the "History Collection" compiled by the Persians, or the "Yuan History" and the "New Yuan History" compiled by the Han People, they all clearly record a fact: Temujin and Zamuhe have a very deep affection, and the two are more sympathetic to each other.

The question is here: If Temujin's early accounts are as tragic and bizarre as the Mongol trilogy, where did his relationship with Zamuhe come from?

You know, after Temujin and Zamu merged, in addition to helping Temujin rob his wife, they have almost always been hostile. To say that their feelings are cultivated after adulthood, who believes?

Therefore, there can only be one explanation: the relationship between the young Temujin and the young Zamu is very good, and the Beggar Department (also the fast line) and the ZadaBu have always had a long and good cooperation.

But when they grow up, as the representatives of the two major forces, they are doomed to be unable to maintain this friendship; with the development of the two major forces, the contradictions between them are doomed to be irreconcilable.

No matter how good personal relations are, they cannot resist the invasion of real interests. This is the fundamental reason why Temujin and Zamu merged to become enemies, and the fuse of the anti-eye hatred was pulled by Temujin.

Today, I will just briefly talk about the combination of Temujin and Zamu, about temujin and Zamu's confrontation, and leave it until later when I explain the "Battle of the Thirteen Wings" to elaborate, so stay tuned!
