2. Fa Li Cheng. It means that Shi obeyed Li Cheng's dispatch of troops, what to do? Shi Zun sent troops to Later Zhao's city of Yicheng (邺城, in modern Linzhang County, Hebei). In 349 AD, the third emperor of Later Zhao, Shi Hu, died, and his thirteenth son, Shi Shi, who was only 10 years old, succeeded to the throne, so the power fell to Empress Liu and the chancellor Zhang Jackal. When the news of his father's death and Zhang Jackal's monopoly reached Shi Zun's ears, Shi Zun raised an army in Yecheng under the name of Qing Junfang.
3. Shi Min. Shi Min's original surname was Ran, and his ancestors had served as the governor of Liyang in the Han Dynasty, and his father Ran Liang was adopted as an adopted son by Shi Hu, the third emperor of Later Zhao, when he was 12 years old, and changed his name to Shi Zhan, and later served as the general of Zuo Ji and the Marquis of Xihua. Although Shi Min was Shi Hu's adopted grandson, Shi Hu loved him as much as his own grandson, and because of his bravery and resourcefulness, he held the positions of General of the Northern Middle Lang and Guerrilla General.
Therefore, in order to seize power, Shi Zun sent troops from Li Cheng to the side of the Qing Emperor and appointed Shi Min as the forward. When he sent troops, he said to Shi Min that if this matter was done, he would let you be the crown prince (Chu Yi).
Shi Min, who was 28 years old, naturally believed Shi Zun's words, so he led his troops to Yecheng in a furious manner, and things finally succeeded.
However, the result was that Shi Zun reneged on his word.
Shi Zun made Shi Yan, the son of Shi Bin the Prince of Yan, crown prince, and appointed Shi Min as a Chinese and foreign military general, a general of the auxiliary state, a lu shang shu, and an auxiliary government. This made Shi Min very unhappy. Is it because Shi Yan is a Xiongnu Beiluo, and Shi Min is a Han Chinese?
Shi Zun is also aware of Shi Min's dissatisfaction, so he wants to slowly take away his military power and plot to kill him. However, Shi Hu's third son, Shi Jian the Prince of Yiyang, told him the news, so he took the lead in taking Shi Zun down and established Shi Jian as the sixth emperor of Later Zhao.
However, Shi Jian was not a fuel-saving lamp, and after he became emperor, because he was afraid that Shi Min's power would overshadow him, he actually sent someone to assassinate Shi Min and others, and as a result, he was killed instead. Therefore, Shi Jian only became emperor for more than 100 days and buried himself along with Hou Zhao.
In 350, Shi Min ended Later Zhao, proclaimed himself emperor, gave the state name Wei, restored the ran surname, and set the capital at Yecheng, historically known as "Ran Wei".
"Ran Wei" enjoyed the kingdom for only two years, and in 350 AD, it was destroyed by Murong Juan of former Yan of the Xianbei clan.
Although "Ran Wei" had only enjoyed the country for two years, Ran Min's "order to kill Hu" saved the Northern Han people, so he was still highly valued by later generations. When he was young, the great man wrote in "The Power of the Heart": "Since the turmoil of the Three Kingdoms, the Wuhu massacre of the Southern and Northern Dynasties almost exterminated China, but fortunately there was a heroic martyr Ran Min who saved the country and saved the people. ”
