NHTSA has data showing that in 2019 alone, driving distractions led to 3,142 deaths in road traffic accidents

The survey involved Tesla's entire range of vehicles equipped with Passenger Play. NHTSA said these models can use the central control screen to play games while driving, affecting driving safety. The Passenger Play feature itself only allows passengers to play while the vehicle is in motion, but with some simple confirmation, drivers can also play card games while driving.
