Tibet S5 line Lhasa to Zedang expressway project is a key project to promote the integrated development of Lhasa and Shannan, starting from the Linla Expressway Interchange Hub in Deqing Town, Dazi District, Lhasa City, and ending at the Gongze Expressway in Sangye Town, Zhanang County, Shannan, with a total mileage of 47.46 kilometers, and is designed to use two-way four-lane first-class highway standard construction. Up to now, the lhasa section and shannan section of the project have completed 100% of the subgrade project, and the tunnel project has completed 77.13% of the total engineering volume, and it is expected that the main line of the project will be completed by the end of next year. After the completion of the project, the passage time from Lhasa to Shannan will be shortened to 1 hour.
