Cadillac's participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France dates back to the 1950s, when two Cadillac cars appeared in the 1950 road race. These include a 61-series coupe, while another model has been hailed by French fans as "Le Monstre Le Mans" for its disruptive modifications and aerodynamic innovations.
In addition, it is worth noting that in order to pay tribute to Cadillac's return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the official also announced that a new Le Mans orange paint will be launched on CT5. The new car will continue to be powered by a 2.0T variable cylinder turbocharged engine, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
