Announcement on the official entry into force of the status of sofM players (LE QUANG DUY) LPL players

SofM players (LE QUANG DUY) have recently officially submitted materials to the league to apply for the League of Legends Pro League ("LPL") division qualification.

According to the 2021 Season League of Legends Pro League Rules:

"2.2.2.3. Cross-Regional Mobile Player a non-LPL player who was on the official LPL League list before August 1, 2016 and has resided in Chinese mainland for 48 or more months in the past 72 months (counting from the time of his first participation in the LPL, LSPL, LDL or Global Finals, etc.), can apply to the LPL official to become an LPL player. Once the review is approved, the player will be able to obtain the status of LPL player. Non-LPL players who joined the LPL league on or after August 1, 2016 can only become LPL players by acquiring Chinese mainland citizenship, i.e. not based on the length of residence alone. The identity change of the applicant will take effect as soon as the most recent transfer period, and the LPL official will notify you separately.

2.2.2.4. Single Identity Rules At any time, a player cannot have two or more division player status at the same time, e.g. a player cannot have both LPL and LCK division player status. ”

After the league's review of the information is correct, the application is confirmed, and the sofM player LPL qualification will officially take effect on December 22, 2021.

From the effective date, SofM players will lose their status as Vietnam Championship Series ("VCS") players, and future VCS players who wish to regain the status of VCS players will need to comply with the VCS rules and pass the official VCS review.

Notice is hereby given.
