It was an important town of Tunken in the Tang Dynasty on the Silk Road, and once had 240,000 mu of Tuntian.
However, more than 1,000 years later, Tangluntai has become a farther place than farther away, the lack of archaeology and the lack of key excavated cultural relics, this historical city is lost in today's geographical coordinates, where is Tangluntai?
Liuyun Ancient City, the ruins of the Tang Dynasty border city adjacent to the Liuyun Lake Farm, now there are more and more clues and it may be tangluntai.
Located at the foot of Bogda Peak, liuyun ancient city is 420 meters long from north to south, 272 meters long from east to west, surrounded by crops and fields, and the west side is the Sangong River Valley, with many pebbles in the river.
The Journey to the West of the True People of Changchun records that when Qiu Chuji passed through Tang Luntai, he described, "To the east of Suluntai, to the south, to the Yin Mountains, the three peaks are abrupt and leaning on the sky."
