In 1901, Lin Qiaozhi was born in Gulangyu, Xiamen, to a family of returned overseas Chinese from Nanyang. When he was 5 years old, Lin Qiaozhi's mother died of gynecological tumor disease. In 1929, Lin Qiaozhi, who aspired to become a doctor, became the first Chinese female doctor to graduate from Peking Union Medical College Hospital and began a 54-year medical career.
In order to challenge the prejudice that women could not take scalpels, for the sake of Chinese women who knew nothing about obstetrics and gynecology diseases, she resolutely chose the obstetrics and gynecology department that was looked down upon by many people at that time.
When pregnant women were about to give birth, Lin Qiaozhi always held their hands and helped them wipe away the beads of sweat on their faces. A medical record that has been treasured for 75 years
In April 2021, a medical record from 75 years ago was accidentally revealed.
Fast forward to 2015, when a 73-year-old woman showed several copies of her parents' medical records, which were handwritten by Lin Qiaozhi, a modern Chinese obstetrician-gynecologist, in 1946.

He delivered yuan longping
One day more than 90 years ago, in the delivery room of The Union Hospital in Wangfujing, Beijing, a young mother named Hua Jing gave birth to a baby boy. This baby boy is called "Yuan Longping"!
In the year of delivery of "Yuan Xiaoxiao", she was a twenty-seven-year-old girl who graduated from Peking Union Medical College with a doctorate in medicine, and was hired as a doctor of obstetrics and gynecology at Union Medical College Hospital, becoming the first Chinese female doctor to graduate and stay in the hospital.
However, it was difficult to predict at that time, she would become one of the main pioneers of obstetrics and gynecology in China, and will create many firsts in the years to come.

Lin Qiaozhi, who was nearly eighty years old, finally fell ill due to long hours of high-load work. In a wheelchair and in a hospital bed, she began to write Gynecologic Oncology. In 4 years, she completed this 500,000-word monograph, which is the last effort of her life for the health of women and children in the mainland.
In the early morning of April 22, 1983, Lin Qiaozhi whispered in his sleep, shouting urgently: "Forceps, forceps, come with forceps!" She slowly calmed down, and after a while, a smile appeared on her face: "It's another fat doll, and I delivered 3 babies in one night, which is so good!" ”
