Japanese startup Diver-X launched Kickstarter crowdfunding for a unique VR headset called HalfDive, which is designed to be used while lying down, taking some inspiration from the hit anime Sword Art Online. Just four days since the launch of the crowdfunding, HalfDive has surpassed its $176,000 crowdfunding target, with regular crowdfunding starting at $755.

HalfDive completed its funding target four days after the crowdfunding began, receiving about $183,000 in crowdfunding from 184 backers. As of the publication of the article, most of the crowdfunded ladder projects are still involved, and the most popular early bird version of the basic model has sold out for $1050.
