Guo Moumou was prosecuted by the Zhaoyang District Procuratorate in accordance with law.

Recently, the China Procuratorial Network published the indictment of the case. The content of the indictment shows that defendant Guo Moumou, born in 1998, was criminally detained by the Zhaoyang Branch of the Zhaotong City Public Security Bureau on June 17, 2021 on suspicion of causing death by negligence, arrested by the Zhaoyang Branch of the Zhaoyang District Public Security Bureau on June 26, 2021, and is now detained in the Zhaoyang District Detention Center.

Zhaoyang District Procuratorate reviewed and ascertained in accordance with the law, defendant Guo xxx and victim Liang xxx met through WeChat chat, on June 16, 2021, the victim Liang xxx went to Zhaotong City Zhaoyang District Jing'an New District to date defendant Guo xxx, after the two met at about 9 p.m., Guo xx took Liang xxx to his home, Liang xx stayed overnight in Guo xx's home, the two had a sexual relationship on the bed in his home, the next day at 5 a.m. Xu Liang xxx convulsed due to acute epilepsy, Guo xxx was afraid of Liang xx's family to find trouble, So He carried Liang X back to the green belt on the west side of the fifth building and put it on the ground, and did not take any rescue measures, resulting in Liang X's death in the green belt on June 17, 2021. According to the inspection and appraisal of the Zhaoyang District Public Security Judicial Appraisal Center of Zhaotong City, the cause of death of the deceased Liang Moumou was sudden internal causative death caused by acute epilepsy.

The Zhaoyang District Procuratorate held that after the defendant Guo X and the victim had sexual relations, he saw that the victim was ill and had the obligation to rescue, but did not take any rescue measures, discarded the victim in the garden downstairs of the unit, causing the victim to die due to his own illness, and his behavior violated the provisions of article 233 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, the facts of the crime were clear, the evidence was credible and sufficient, and he should be investigated for criminal responsibility for the crime of causing death by negligence. In accordance with the provisions of Article 176 of the Criminal Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China, if a public prosecution is initiated, please sentence it in accordance with law.
