In recent years, the primary and secondary schools in the MeilisdaHuer Ethnic District of Qiqihar City have relied on the local historical and cultural traditions to fully explore the traditional cultural resources and make the cultural inheritance of the Dahuer ethnic group bigger and stronger.

In more than 10 ethnic schools in the region, Da Chinese language classes, ethnic song and dance classes have been set up, 87 clubs with ethnic characteristics have been established, and professional vocal music teachers and dance teachers of the District Cultural Center have been invited to teach traditional song and dance performances such as "Hakenmailer" and "Wuqin"; art clubs have been established to learn handmade crafts such as Hanica and paper-cutting from folk artists, and some traditional Daur sports projects such as stick pulling, pottery sticks, and neck strength have also been added to them. Set up an intangible cultural heritage studio to continuously excavate and innovate the Daur culture suitable for classroom teaching, so that the inheritance of national culture can shine brightly. Recently, 5 schools in the district were selected for the third batch of national primary and secondary school Chinese excellent traditional culture inheritance schools announced on the website of the Ministry of Education recently.
