After investigation, the criminal suspect Huang Moumou used aluminum ammonium sulfate (commonly known as alum, food additive) as a fritter softener when operating a cake shop, and the amount added exceeded 7.42 times the national food safety standard. No harmful substances were found in the cakes produced and sold by Huang Moumou. The case is currently under further consideration.
