So far, the hospital has joined the key specialty alliance of nearly 20 authoritative tertiary hospitals, and its medical association covers more than 100 second-level hospitals inside and outside Guangdong Province.

Guangdong Qifu Hospital is the first tertiary integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine hospital founded by Hong Kong people in mainland China, and this year marks the 20th anniversary of its establishment. As early as 2005, the hospital took the lead in introducing 13 Hong Kong doctors to practice, and this year it again applied for the introduction of 16 Hong Kong doctors to practice in the hospital. At present, the hospital serves more than 100,000 Hong Kong and Macao residents in the Bay Area every year.

It is reported that in 2019, the founder of the hospital, Peng Phosphorus, led the completion of the "Research on the Docking of Medical Service Policies in Guangdong and Hong Kong", which provided a basis for the medical development and policy formulation of the Greater Bay Area. At the same time, the hospital hosted academic exchange activities such as "New Development of Medical Leadership in the Greater Bay Area". This year, the hospital once again applied for 16 Hong Kong doctors from oncology, gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics and rehabilitation to practice at the hospital. At the same time, the hospital is actively striving to become a pilot hospital for the "Hong Kong and Macao Medicine and Equipment Pass" and a pilot hospital for the use of Medical Vouchers in Hong Kong.
