In the last part of the year, many people look back at the games that have been released during the year and pick in their minds what they think are the best, occasionally thinking about which games have disappointed. While the GTA Trilogy Ultimate Edition, Battlefield 2042, and others have all received a lot of criticism and may be one of the most disappointing games of the year, there is another game that is worse than all of them: eFootball 2022.
Konami hasn't had a good time in recent years, and since its parting ways with Hideo Kojima led to the stranding of the new Silent Hill game, the company hasn't found a particularly good game producer. And their "eFootball" at the end of September is said to have changed the decline of "Pro Evolution Soccer", and the results are not beautiful. The game has been consistently badly rated by players and the media, so much so that Metacritic, a well-known foreign rating site, rated it as the worst PC game of the year, with only 25 points. For reference, the PC version of THE GTA Trilogy Ultimate Edition has 49 points.
The game's release status is considered ridiculous, and the game is full of bugs, poor gameplay and visuals, all of which don't look like a game made this year. Konami also had to apologize for eFootball, accept all the negative feedback, and promise to fix the issue with the update, but its update patch has also been delayed. Overall, it's no surprise that this game was voted the worst game on PC this year.
