Information on the new work of "Worker's Tales" will be released next month

Ubisoft has announced that it will announce the new titles in the classic City Building Real-time Strategy game Worker's Tales series in January 2022. At the same time, the official also opened the application for the game beta test, and registering on the application page has the opportunity to get the qualification for the early trial.

It was first announced in 2018, when it was expected to go on sale in the fall of 2019. But after two delays, Ubisoft did not announce a new release date. The announcement of Ubisoft's opening of the test application may also mean that the game is not far from the official release.

The Worker's Tales series is a real-time strategy game developed by Blue Byte Software, originally released in 1993. Blue Byte Software was acquired by Ubisoft in 2001, and the latest game in the Anno 1800 series was developed by the studio. The "Worker's Tales" series has not released any new works since the launch of the 7th generation in 2010.

The 8th generation of Workers' Tales was scheduled for release in 2014. However, after the game received negative feedback, Ubisoft abruptly canceled the closed test. It wasn't until 2016 that Blue Byte Software announced that it would be redesigned as an action role-playing game, Heroes of Antria.

Ubisoft announced in 2018 that it would reboot Worker's Tales, with the new book released in the fall of 2019. But as time approached, Ubisoft postponed its release to 2020, and then announced the postponement again in the summer of 2020, saying that while there was no problem with the direction of development, it would take more time because it wanted to "create a unique gaming experience" and ensure quality.
