Do you know about the Cemetery? The Yuguo Cemetery can be said to be the best-preserved and most complete ancient site of the Western Zhou Dynasty found in China so far, and the owner of the tomb is the monarch of the Yu Kingdom, and of course, there are a large number of nobles of the Yu Kingdom.

The first discovery of the Yuguo cemetery was in the 1950s, and then after several large-scale excavations, a total of hundreds of tombs were excavated, and the excavated cultural relics were innumerable, such as the jade ling copper core sword known as the "first sword in China", the "jade mask", the "jade handle iron sword" and so on.
In the early 90s of last century, when the villagers from a village in Sanmenxia, Henan Province, were building a house, they found a different surprise, and when digging the foundation, a large number of jade objects were dug out, this news could not be hidden in the countryside, and soon the villagers knew.
Then the village immediately became lively, because the villagers in the village all came to dig for treasures, after all, how could such a tempting thing not be attractive? Fortunately, the village cadres soon revealed the matter to the cultural relics department, hoping to come over as soon as possible for investigation.
At that time, the Henan archaeological team immediately rushed over, and even came to the public security department, after all, the scene is so chaotic, or need to maintain order, in order to effectively protect the tombs here, archaeologists let the archaeological team pull up the cordon, but also to prevent villagers and tomb robbers from entering, otherwise it will be really troublesome at that time.
The next step is naturally the work of the Henan archaeological team, in the subsequent excavation, it can be said that it is full of surprises, but the early stage is very difficult, because the tomb is buried very deeply, tender is dug to 15 meters underground to reveal the true face, and finally reflected a rectangular vertical cave tomb.
In addition, there was no trace of any tomb robbery found next to the tomb, which is undoubtedly a very exciting news, until the archaeological team entered the main burial chamber, it was found that the main tomb really had too many treasures, and it was dazzling to see, which also showed that the identity of the tomb owner was very noble.
Later we know that it is the monarch of the kingdom of Yu Zhong, many of the excavated bronzes are engraved with inscriptions, which is undoubtedly very precious, in addition to the tomb owner's coffin is more surprised, in the tomb owner's head have found three layers of jade, of which the "jade mask" is in it, today's "jade mask" is definitely a national treasure in the national treasure, and we can talk about it well.
According to the preliminary statistics at that time, this archaeological excavation unearthed a total of 3600 cultural relics (more than 2000 pieces of jade alone), including bronze, gold and silver jade and other cultural relics, and this is the first archaeological stage from 1990 to 1991, and the second archaeological stage was carried out again after the second archaeological stage.
