Test results

The test results showed that 35 children's underwear samples sold online, of which 18 had excellent performance and won five stars, 3 had better performance and won four stars; 3 had good performance and won three stars; 7 were "three noes" products (2 of which did not meet national standards) and were not evaluated; 4 pH test results did not meet national standards and were not evaluated. (1) The pH detection items of 6 products do not meet the national standards

pH is one of the safety indicators of textiles, and it is also one of the test items that are prone to non-conformity with national standards. Whether the pH value meets the standard is related to personal health and safety. The surface of human skin is weakly acidic, and the textiles in direct contact with the skin exceed the suitable range of human skin, and the weak acidic environment of the human body will be destroyed, causing skin itching, allergies, inflammation and other diseases, and even endangering the sweat glands and nervous system of the human body, affecting the health of the human body.

After testing, the test results of 6 products (including 2 "three no products") do not meet the national standards, and the pH test items do not meet the national standards.

Purchase recommendations

In view of the problems in the online sale of children's underwear, the Guangxi Consumer Council has made the following consumer tips and appeals to consumers and operators.

1. Choose a brand and online store with a good reputation. The safety of children's underwear is very important, it is recommended that when shopping online, one should choose a shopping platform and online store with complete operating qualifications, large scale and high credibility; second, choose a large brand, complete packaging and identification, and good after-sales service brand underwear; third, compare three, rational selection, store credit evaluation sales are high, store attention is high, and fans do not represent product quality.

2. Choose a healthy, comfortable and green material. When choosing children's underwear, health, softness, comfort and breathability are the main assessment indicators. When purchasing, pay attention to smelling, seeing the gloss, and picking the feel. It is recommended to choose light-colored underwear made of pure cotton or Modal material with good water absorption and breathability, and if possible, try to choose high-quality natural and pure fabrics, especially those that use green environmental protection materials in the printing and dyeing process and do not contain chemical agents that cause skin discomfort.

3. Choose underwear with a full logo and durability label. At the time of purchase, you can propose to the merchant to view the product quality label, test report, etc., and the specification logo should include in addition to the product name, enterprise name, address, product standard, safety category and other information, but also include the use of precautions (such as the scope of taboo) and other content. If you purchase "three no products" or goods with incomplete logos and unclear labels, it is recommended to return them and inform the e-commerce platform to protect their legitimate rights and interests.
