IT House News on April 17, in the first-person shooter team competitive game "CS:GO" developed by Valve, players can collect and trade skins for various firearms and knives, some skins are very rare and expensive, and are considered collectibles. With CS:GO2 just around the corner, the CS:GO skin market has been skyrocketing, with investors and collectors willing to pay higher and higher prices for the rarest and most desirable items.
Recently, there was a big deal on the CS:GO skin market. Foreign "CS:GO" player "zipelCS" tweeted that he completed the second largest transaction in CSGO history, selling AK-47 661 ST MW with 4 holographic titan prints and a worn-out 387 quenched claw knife for $500,000 (IT House Note: currently about 3.435 million yuan).
Both skins are sapphire from the Case Hardened collection, the version with the most blue patterns. This pattern is very rare and has only a small chance of getting it from the game. Moreover, both skins are good versions of StatTrak (stat tracking) that record the user's kills.
In addition to the value of the skin itself, there is another important factor that makes it so valuable: stickers. On the AK-47, there are four Titan holographic stickers from the 2014 Katowice tournament. These stickers are the most expensive in CS:GO, and each is worth around $60,000. They come from a defunct French squad that is highly sought after for its scarcity and historical significance.
According to IT House, the deal was matched by a Danish CS:GO player and trader zipeL, who announced the news on Twitter and posted photos of the two skins, and the new owner is a Chinese collector. The Chinese collector also owns other valuable CS:GO skins, such as a Souvenir AWP Dragon Lore, worth more than $100,000.
zipeL said it was the second-largest deal he completed and the second-largest in CS:GO's history. The first big deal happened last year, when a Chinese collector paid $1.5 million for a new version of Karambit sapphire.
