Recently, it has been reported that Apple is developing a display with daily users as the main audience, which is more affordable than the Pro Display XDR. If this news is true, this display will be Apple's first display for mainstream consumers since 2016.

Compared with the previous professional Pro Display XDR display, the brightness and contrast of this display have been reduced, but the resolution still reaches 4.5K, which can meet the needs of most users. The appearance is the same as the current 27-inch iMac, but the hosting part is removed.
In terms of specific parameters, Apple's new display has two sizes, namely 24 inches and 27 inches, with a resolution of 4480x2520, a maximum brightness of 500 nits, support for 1 billion color displays, DCI-P3 wide color gamut display and True Tone technology. The 27-inch model may also support mini LED backlighting and ProMotion adaptive refresh rate technology.
