As 2021 draws to a close, EA has released this year's player stats to look back at the entire year's gaming journey, and here are some highlights.
EA added more than a million people to its player community this year, mostly from Europe (30%), followed by the United States (25%), Asia Pacific (22.5%) and South and Latin America (15.7%).

In terms of games, Apex Heroes and FIFA are the games with the largest number of players this year, with Apex Heroes players using ziplines more than 24 billion times, springboards more than 12 billion times, respawns more than 1 billion times, and hero skills more than 9 billion times; and in FIFA 21, players scored a total of 22 billion goals.
In Sims 4, players around the world have played more than 1 billion hours in the game, of which more than 140 million hours have been spent pinching people, and players have created a total of 376 million Sims.
